HI Ken,

I have no idea what the source and sink led options do in the DV settings, but if you do change to sink-led then once you activate Auto Switch to Dolby Vision off and then on again it reverts back to source-led.

Something is not quite right !

Here is the result of all the combinations,
source-led simply means TV takes the lead and if the TV supports DV, it re-activates itself after reboot.

The only thing we can modify is to disallow TV to re-activate DV when HDR policy is set the Adaptive HDR, even (TV's) source-led is selected.

and what is "sink-led" ?

users who have DV capable TV's who wish to view DV media, will not want to have their TV going into any HDR/DV mode ( on start/restart/reboot) and will expect the TV/Minix combo to only activate HDR/DV when playing such content.

Are you able to "look" at Slimbox atv_42_13 ( on the U22 -XJ [not Max]} becuase this works fine DV wise, to get any clues ?

thanks for continuing to look at this and im more than happy to try out any further beta's....... btw, this functionality will be extremely important for the upcoming 8K box :)

I think what I proposed will fix the issue. just wait for our next build
