5.1 surround

Hi all,
I have a minix NEO U22-XJ, the sound in the videos with 5.1 surround, I can't hear it.Is it possible to output from 5.1 to Stereo?
I don't have a 5.1 surround system.
The minix is connected to the tv via hdmi.

Yes...just dont select any formats in minix sound settings

setup with only TV speakers:
go to settings/device preferences/sound:
sound - system settings (enable)
select formats - auto

hi,
It does not work
the video only has 5.1 audio so you can't hear anything.
We would need something that converts it to AC3 stereo

what are you playing the video file with ?
set digital audio format to PCM in minix audio output settings
