Booting from external USB 3.0 flash.

Hello, I have upgraded the bios to version 1.8 which is supposed to allow the Z83-4 to boot from the external flash mounted on the USB3.0 port.
I have imaged the 32GB of eMMC to a 256GB USB stick however it doesn't matter how I set the BIOS boot priority I still boot from the internal eMMC. In all boot scenarios, Windows 10 shows "C" drive as being the eMMC and "D" drive the external flash.
Is there a way to disable the internal eMMC drive (not see or detect anymore) and boot directly to the external USB3.0 flash?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
Robert.

Power on the device then mash the Esc key to enter BIOS.

Advanced
MINIX Feature Configuration
SCC eMMC Support [Disabled]

Are you sure the USB stick is bootable?

Imaging the eMMC to a USB stick doesn't necessarily mean the USB stick is bootable!

Hello Villa and thank you for your response. I have done hundreds of disc clones/images between HHD and SSD drives, using Macrium Reflect. Never had any issues with the boot process. On the other hand I have never imaged an eMMC. It turns out the the image created on the External Flash card is not bootable.
Is there a special process that needs to be followed in order to image these eMMC drives?
